Sun and Google Multiyear Deal, No Google Office

In the scheduled press conference today, Google CEO Eric Schmidt, and Sun CEO Scott McNealy announce a new deal which will mean both companies collaborating in promoting each other products.

The deal includes plans to package the Google Toolbar within the Java Runtime Environment consumer edition, and plans to explore ways to "promote and enhance Sun technologies" such as Java and the OpenOffice.org suite.

A Google Office suite, has so far not been announced contrary to what many anticipated.
